LED LIGHT BAR SETUP INSTRUCTIONS FOR SHOW OFF LIGHTING
READ BEFORE USING
Typical Assembly Setup
A typical booth install would an "L" or a "U" shape configuration.

Step #1
Place (1) corner baseplate (4) inches from the front edge of the booth & (4) inches from the side.

Step #2
Place additional baseplates every (6) to (8) feet depending on the length of your lights. YOU MUST ADD WEIGHT TO THE BASEPLATES BY SETTING YOUR CASES ON TOP OF THEM OR USING A CLAMP TO HOLD THE PLATES TO THE TABLE. IF YOU DO NOT KEEP WEIGHT OR CLAMPS ON THE BASEPLATES BEFORE YOU GO ANY FURTHER, THE SUPPORT STANDS AND/OR LIGHTS WILL FALL OVER.

Step #3
SLIDE do not twist, the support poles on to the baseplate peg. Make sure the power outlets are facing the inside of the booth & drape the power cord over the back edge of the table.
Step #4
Use the optional stabilizer suction clips to clamp the poles to any glass surface for additional stability.

Step #5
Use the (2) pieces of light bars and SLIDE them together but DO NOT TWIST. Insert the locking pin.
Step #6
Rest both ends of the light bar on their appropriate clips on top of the heads. Align the power cord with outlet & plug each end into the outlets. Sometimes you may need to locate a stand a foot or so from the end of the light: in this case you will need a 1ft. extension cord for the plug to reach. Make sure the bar is seated firmly in the clips. Run power to the stands electrical cord & turn the lights on.
Step #7
Walk around your booth and adjust the angle of the lights to center onto your display by rotating the lights before they get too hot.
General Information
BULBS
You can safely use almost any GU10 base bulb, up to 50 watts in each socket. Halogen bulbs create a lot of heat therefore; do not use 50 watt halogen more than every other socket if you decide to use them. Show Off Lighting has been tested to withstand an average 35w shielded halogen in every socket thus ensuring that the bar temperature does not exceed its maximum temperature of 220 degrees F. Do not use frosted or unshielded halogen bulbs, as these get too hot and could permanently damage your lighting system. Our standard shipping configuration is with warm and cool LED bulbs.
Light Bar Joints
With the lock pin, always slide the lights together, do not twist. Twisting the light bars will cause the precision machined parts to scrape and chip, which will cause them to stick. Always keep very light grease on the fittings to prevent this. If light bars start sticking, wipe the connectors inside and out. Use a fine sandpaper (1000 grit) to clean the pin and the socket and re-apply a light lube, Vaseline will work just fine.
HEAT
Make sure when you power the lights off, to allow them 5 to 15 minutes to cool off before you disassemble the system. Depending on your bulb selection average light bar temperatures will run between 120 degrees to as much as 210 degrees during operation ( more halogen bulbs will increase the bar temperature dramatically.) Please allow time to cool so that you do not burn yourself. Heat is the worst enemy to LED bulbs so to maximize the life of your bulb investment, use as few halogen bulbs as practical for your application if you decide to use them at all. Remember our standard bulb configuration does not ship with any halogens only warm & cool LED bulbs.
REPLACEMENT BULBS
Due to the portable nature of Show Off Lighting, occasionally bulbs will go bad. Because LED bulbs can be used next to halogen bulbs, the heat will increase inside the LED bulbs causing a shorter life span. Bouncing and banging the lights will also decrease the bulbs lifespan. Using these guidelines will ensure the maximum life from your bulb investment.
BULB WARRANTY
Show Off Lighting ships with (2) advanced warranty replacement matched spare bulbs for each light bar purchased. Bulbs will fail occasionally and you now have spares on hand to keep matched bulbs shining bright. Matching bulbs will always be available from Show Off Lighting for a reasonable price.
